Hello everybody!

A little later than I should have done it, but let me introduce myself. I am Carolina. You can call me Caro, all my friends do. As I said before I am from Romania. I teach English in a highschool in my hometown. I love my job. I am married and I have one daughter. About four years ago a friend of mine sent me a link in my mail. It was Declan's "An Angel". And I was hooked. Little by little I found out everything that was to know about him and I have never stopped my research since then. I listened to all the songs in the videos on Youtube, learnt all his interviews by heart, made powerpoint presentations with his pictures and the song lyrics for my students, turned my English room at school into a small Declan world. On the 19th of every month I wear one of my Declan T-shirts. I am a rock lover, but since the new songs appeared on SoundCloud I haven't listened to anything else, than Declan's songs, that never cease to amaze me. I do my best to promote Declan in my community and on my FB page and I must admit I'm a little disappointed when people do not grasp the beauty and uniqueness of his music. That is why I feel at home here, on this forum, where everybody loves Declan! Hope you all enjoy being here as much as I do.

What a lovely introduction! I must say I know what it's like to be enthusiastic about a particular artist and find out that some people close to you don't share your enthusiasm. Indeed, it can be disappointing, but I keep saying to myself that we are all different. Our perceptions and taste are different. There are many artists with millions of fans, which means they must be good, and yet I can't find any song of theirs which I would listen to.

I saw a picture of the English room you previously mentioned, it's indeed a small Declan world
I wish I had a similar learning environment in my school...
